I was initially nervous about bring my 2 year old toddler Jack as he could either have been shy and clingy or join in the fun and be himself. We had a photoshoot today, 4 kids from 1-8 and 2 adults, Gavin the photographer was amazing with them all. My youngest had a rough morning and was feeling sorry for himself but he managed to get him to smile (a big ask for such a furious 1yr old) and my 3 year old is generally quite feral! Having handled this brilliantly, managing to get everyone in poses and photographed with what seemed like very little effort. He interacts so well with all 4 children and had them laughing and smiling, as well as teaching them a little magic haha. Would highly recommend :) x

They were amazing! The photo shoot was for my little girl who is under 1 years old. Gavin was incredible with my daughter and kept her well entertained while taking her photos. He was lovely and polite. We came back to view the photos a week later and the photos were so lovely and very professional! We bought a lot of them on usb and one wall photo frame which now looks lovely in my living room. 
When I came to collect them I had parked a bit down the road on a car park but couldn’t carry it all on my own with my daughter as well so Jenni very kindly help take everything back to my car for me. At Rolph and Co, we absolutely love photographing animals. Which makes sense, because our studio mascot is Ralph, a very opinionated black pug who has been running the place since before we had any clients. He has strong views on treats, the lighting setup, and which spot on the studio floor belongs to him.

Gavin works with pets with the same patience and calm he brings to every shoot. Animals in front of cameras can be unpredictable, so he builds in plenty of time and works entirely at their pace. The result is natural, relaxed portraits that actually look like your pet, not a stressed version of them.

Indoor studio photography gives us full control over lighting and backgrounds, so we can create beautiful, professional portraits whatever the weather, and really let your pet's personality shine.

There's nothing quite like
the first few days.

Tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, that perfect little face. We help you hold onto all of it. Newborn sessions at Rolph and Co are led by Gavin, who has a wonderful gift for working with brand new babies and nervous new parents alike. Sessions are warm, unhurried and completely at your baby's pace. If they need a feed, a cuddle or a nappy change, we stop. There is no rush here.

Unlike many studios, we don't ask you to book before your baby arrives. We'd rather you meet them first. Once they're here, get in touch as soon as you can. Sessions work best in the first 14 days, when babies are at their sleepiest and most curled up.

We welcome the whole family into the studio. Brothers, sisters, grandparents, everyone is encouraged to be part of the shoot. This is about capturing your family in this moment, not just a baby on a blanket.

Sessions typically last around 3 hours, giving plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and settling at whatever pace your baby needs.

A cake smash shoot is one of the most joyful things we do at Rolph and Co. Watching a small human encounter a cake for the very first time never gets old. And the photographs? Pure gold. Shoots start with some sweet, clean portraits of your birthday boy or girl before we introduce the cake. What happens next is entirely up to them, and it is almost always brilliant.

You bring the cake, balloons, decorations and anything else you would like in the shoot. Whatever colour scheme or theme you have in mind, bring it along. This makes the whole thing feel personal to your little one rather than a generic setup.

Getting a teenager to agree to have their photograph taken is an achievement in itself. We know. Which is why we have made it our mission to make the whole thing as relaxed, enjoyable and genuinely good-looking as possible.

Gavin works with teens the same way he works with everyone else: no forced smiles, no stiff poses, no "say cheese." Just a relaxed shoot in the studio, a bit of a laugh, and photographs that actually look like them rather than a tense version of themselves someone dragged in front of a camera.
